UPDATE August 16th
A message to her supporters from Keeley:
I’d like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for all of the kind people in my life. If you know me, you know that I’ve always been an independent, hard-working person and devoted mother. This has been a dark and painful chapter of my life, and as a private person, it’s not easy to open up my life and accept help. Thank you so much to Maryam N. Hoffmann for being such a rock in my life, and creating the Go Fund Me account on my behalf. To everyone who has donated, shared the post, reached out with kind words and support…..I just can’t thank you enough. I will continue to pay it forward for the rest of my life.
I’m doing everything I can to support myself through this, and I will get through it. Besides my work as a preschool/prek dance instructor, I am looking for any other jobs I can do- so if you are in the Portland area and need an excellent house-cleaner, private lessons in ballet or kickboxing (all levels), personal training, custom handmade cards or artwork, child care, pet-sitting, car detailing, landscaping/weeding, or any other odd jobs for a semi-retired ballerina, I’m your girl.
I’m forever grateful to have you all in my life.❤️

Help Keeley Fight for Her Son

Dear Friends and Family,

Keeley needs our help in her legal battle for her son Ford, and the freedom to return to her home state of Montana with him.

Due to the delicate nature of the case, we cannot go into details. However, the court proceedings associated with claiming parental rights and negotiating agreements are never-ending, stressful, and present a tremendous financial challenge. Though Keeley is an absolute fighter (IYKYK), right now she needs our support.

There are mounting legal bills and retainers, alongside ongoing cost of living expenses that are impossible to handle for a working and single mother.

At this point, Keeley has spent $4,000 on legal representation, and though she qualifies for low-income legal clinics, all of the local nonprofits are backed up until the end of September. Hearings and trial dates cannot wait and are moving fast, she has no choice in the matter. All of her money is going toward her lawyer right now, leaving little for other necessities. We all know how expensive things are right now and some of us are really feeling the pinch. Anything helps!!

Please chip in or share this gofundme if you can.
