Donate to Keep Brooklyn Cycle & Fitness Thriving

Brooklyn Cycle & Fitness was founded in 2019 by my sister, Barbara
Larrea, who has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years. As the
owner of BC&F, Barbara has not only built an encouraging space for
all but has also made it her mission to uplift and help those in need.
Her passion for both fitness and community service is truly inspiring.
Ten years ago, Barbara established her very own platform, Cycle For
Strength, so she could raise money and give back to the community.
Through various fundraising efforts, she has brought hope, support,
and much-needed resources to countless individuals, families and
organizations. She raised over $200,000 for Strength for Life, a non-
profit organization helping those diagnosed with cancer. She has also
raised funds and collected donations for St. Jude Hospital, The Ronald
McDonald House, Suicide Awareness, Rock the Socks, Long Island
Cares, and Nick Polo Foundation.
Please join us in our upcoming fundraising event on October 19,
2024, which aims to alleviate the financial burden incurred during the
Covid-19 pandemic. Being a brand new business, BC&F did not
qualify for either round of PPP therefore accumulating an abyss of
debt that she continues to recover from. BC&F was forced to shut it's
operations for 7 months, leaving BC&F in arrears with over $60,000 of
back rent alone (7 months of full rent and another year of half rent).
Brooklyn Cycle Fitness isn’t just a business. It is a family vested in
each other’s success. BC&F provides a welcoming space for
everyone, making the community happier and healthier. Please consider
making a donation and allowing Barbara to continue using her platform
to help others. Her dedication to giving back is a shining example of how
small businesses can make a big difference!
Thank you for supporting Cycle for Strength 2024.
