Hello everyone, my name is Joshua but please call me JT. I have never used anything like GoFundMe before but I feel it's time to swallow my pride. In April of this year I was working 2 jobs to help support my household, including my fiance, two kids, one 135 lbs dog and myself.

Unfortunately I was also diagnosed with terminal Sarcoma in both my right thigh and my lungs, discovered when my lung collapsed. I then spent 26 days straight in the hospital doing tests, chemo and radiation. Being forced to take a leave of absence from work our household was now down to 1 income. Between then and now we have spent our savings hoping I would be able to soon return to work.

Unfortunately the new goal has become surviving until the state decides I am officially disabled. As many of you know the government likes to make these processes very time consuming and difficult.

Physically I have dropped from 250 lbs to 160 lbs and of course lost my hair as a side effect of the chemo/radiation. Essentially I am a fraction of the person I once was and cannot keep up with the type of work I've been doing my adult life, let alone keep up with the kids around the house.

My goal of $3600 is just enough to pay 2 months rent while we wait on the state to hopefully come thru.
