With the seasons changing, we are gearing up for winter. That means it's time for our annual Winter Hay Fund! This hay fund is crucial to ensuring the horses at OBH have extra hay to provide them with lots of fiber to warm them up as temperatures drop. Our herd consists of Olive, Sweet Girl, Sunday Morning, Kandi, and Shade!

At Olive Branch Healing, We offer Equine-Assisted Services, including Equine-Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy, group and private owner horsemanship, equine leasing, events and more to empower participants as they connect deeply with horses while learning life skills.

Founded and centered on Jesus Christ, OBH provides opportunities for both horses and humanity to experience restoration. Our services offer healing and growth for participants and ultimately diversify the equestrian community. Our goal is simple: to help horses and people heal together in a safe space. Because of our services, we have been able to provide re-entry for those shunned or bullied out of the equine (horse) community because of their socioeconomic status, abilities, race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

We have 5 horses so we need lots of hay to power them so that they can do their best work. With that said, our Winter Hay Fund goal is now set to raise $2,260. We anticipate those funds to be broken down as follows:

Hay will be purchased to cover months November 2024 - April 2025.

- Small Timothy hay bales from Smysers Richlawn Farm are $6 each.

- For 6 months, we will need to purchase 360 bales. At $6 per bale, this will total $2,160.

- An extra $100 is being raised to cover any transaction or processing fees from GoFundMe.
