Donate to Keep Shorouk and Khaled's Family Warm

Hi, my name is Tristen from Aurora, Colorado and I am hosting a fundraiser for a family of four in Palestine. The money from this fundraiser will be sent directly to our mutual contact, Yusuf Demirocak, in Turkey who has helped us send money to this family before.

Shorouk and Khaled Mawafy are young parents to two beautiful boys named Jude (3) and Aboud Qader (1).

They are in desperate need. Living in a tent in the Gaza Strip, they have no access to milk and extremely limited access to food, feminine products, and virtually every necessity we take for granted here in the United States. Winter is coming, and they need a new tent as well as everything else needed for survival.

It wasn't always like this. They had a home, and they still keep the key. Thankfully, they evacuated and no one was there when it was bombed by Israeli forces.

Now they are sharing a tent with Khaled's family of ten. Their section is as tiny as you can imagine:
