Hi!! I'm raising survival funds for my Black Trans bestie and I as we have been struggling to maintain stability these past couple of months. They recently moved to New York seeking community and haven't been able to secure a job so they've been getting by on their savings (which has run out) and by providing food delivery service but that has been extremely slow lately due to the influx of delivery drivers. Also, due to Uber's rule regarding high demands of orders, drivers tend to receive less pay for their efforts.

I am very grateful for the stability of my part time job as assistant farm manager but I simply do not gain enough money to afford $1000 in rent and utilities as well as simple necessities.

We are seeking funds for their rent and my housing fees as I am looking for a place to live currently and will soon live in a public shelter, as well as money for food and gas as their sole source of income at the moment requires them to use their car. We plan to split whatever funds we are able to accumulate.

We are also seeking job/intern leads in the following fields:

-Barista/Barbacking

-Remote work (anything entry level)

-Retail/Consignment work

-Production Assisting

-Wardrobe/Costume Styling

-Administrative work (Program coordination/ Non-profit work)

-Agricultural work

We are trying to remain calm and disciplined throughout all of this despite the odds so constantly feeling stacked against us. The love of community has gotten us this far in survival, I trust that if this reaches enough people, we will prevail with steadfastness. Thank you for your time!
