Donate to KT's Unforgettable DC School Trip

Hello Friends,

Today I got an email from a former student who is now in 8th grade. I felt compelled to start my first GoFundMe! Her class has been given the opportunity to go on the traditional DC trip. The cost of this trip is $2,000! Here is what she shared with me:

Anyways, Mom told me to email you about my DC trip!! So this is my last year of middle school, so the school is doing something for all the 8th graders that are leaving. They want to go to Washington DC, but the thing is it's $2,000 for the plane, hotel, food, and other things. So they gave me a fundraiser I could do. I've been doing that. I did one fundraiser and I got like $140 done... I know it's not a lot compared to the whole amount I have to get done. But it's something! The fundraiser was butter bread? And that's how I collected $140. I have more fundraisers that he gave me today which are: Stone Creek Coffee: Due Monday, Nov 18th, Marcus Theater tickets: Monday, Nov 11th, Dave & Busters: Monday, Nov 25th, and Door County Candles: Friday, Dec 6th. At the moment, I'm trying to get the movie tickets to sell because they are due before all the other ones and the 11th is next week. I don't really have a lot of time. Unfortunately, I believe only ONE is online...

The DC trip is a memory of a lifetime; however, families with means have their children try the fundraising and then pay for the rest. Students like mine here work very hard to reach a goal that is extremely hard to reach. I am contacting our leaders to continue this discussion, but it won’t be in time for KT. Can you help her reach her goal?
