Kyle Reese's Long Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, I’m Kyle Reese. On July 9, 2023, I was involved in a devastating side-by-side accident while exploring the beautiful Bryce Canyon in Utah. The accident left me with a severe hand injury that has turned my life upside down. I am reaching out to all compassionate hearts out there to help support me during this challenging time of recovery. After the accident, I was out of work for 7 months due to multiple surgeries and doctor's appointments 4 hrs away from where I live, which caused me to get hotel rooms. I have had 5 surgeries so far and am going up on July 18th for a 6th surgery to try and get some movement out of my hand. It will involve 3 surgeons and the surgery will take 8 hrs and require me to be in the hospital for a week, with no idea of when I’d be able to return to work due to recovery.

Kyle's Accident:

During my trip to Bryce Canyon, I was enjoying the scenic beauty of the area on a side-by-side vehicle when an unfortunate accident occurred. The vehicle flipped on its side, causing significant injuries to me, especially to my dominant hand. The impact has left me unable to perform even the simplest daily tasks, let alone continue with my favorite hobbies and work.

The Road to Recovery:

I have always been an active and energetic person. As an avid camping enthusiast, my life revolved around this passion. But now, i face a long and daunting road to recovery, including surgeries, extensive rehabilitation, and therapy sessions. The medical bills and rehabilitation costs are overwhelming, and it's difficult for me to bear the financial burden alone.
