Hello Family and Friends.
As most of you know, our dear friend Laila (@_bullylaila_) has been hospitalized in the ICU at Animal Clinic Northview in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Laila has been fighting a very severe case of pancreatitis. She has been connected to a feeding tube as well as having multiple IVs and a urinary catheter. At the beginning of the week when Laila was hospitalized, Laila's doctors were not sure if she would make it home. But in true Bull Terrier fashion, Laila fought back and is doing everything she can to get better and get back to being a big sister to her brothers. Fingers crossed, Laila will go home in a few days where her recovery will continue. It will be a slow process and one that Natalie and CJ, her pawrents, are committed to. She will be on very expensive medication as well as prescription food. We are starting this GoFundMe for Laila. As we all know, veterinary care is not cheap, and Laila's hospital bill has exceeded the $10,000 mark. Laila does have insurance, but the remaining balance will be somewhere around the $5,000 mark, not including the prescription medication. We are sharing this with all of you so that we can help Natalie and CJ cover whatever insurance does not cover. Natalie and CJ have stated that whatever is raised over the amount of the hospital bill, they will donate back to a Bull Terrier Rescue.
