Laykin and Kaiden Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On February 9th, my niece and nephew, 8 year old Laykin and 6 year old Kaiden, were involved in a serious accident when the car they were traveling in was hit head on. Their grandmother, Beth Ryan, tragically did not survive. While Kaiden suffered a broken arm and is recovering at home, Laykin suffered severe internal and spinal injuries and is currently receiving care at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
While Laykin’s recovery is moving in the right direction (thanks in large part to her spunkiness), she has a long road ahead of her as she works to regain function of her legs. Once released from the hospital, she will need intensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for an extended period of time.
All donations received through this fund will be deposited into the Laykin and Kaiden Recovery Fund at CACL Credit Union, Pottsville which has been created to offset the costs of their medical care. Should any funds remain after their recovery is complete, it will be donated to the wonderful first responders that provided comfort and life-saving care to Beth, Laykin, and Kaiden and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
On behalf of the family, we sincerely thank you for your generosity and continued prayers.
