Donate to MAARA Kids' Water Well Project

In Ramadan 2018, the kids in our family launched their first try at fundraising for charity. It began with a simple lemonade stand, but has since evolved to reach donors across the globe. MAARA, an acronym representing each of the kid’s last names, evolves each year with our growing family. To date, the MAARA kids have raised enough money to fund 6 water wells, 3 solar powered bore holes, a mosque/ school in India, a roof for our local masjid, and helped sponsor Yemeni orphans. Subhanallah!

This year we hope to sponsor another water well through the nonprofit charity organization Muslim Hands. The wells are 1.5 meters wide and draw water from the ground around 10 meters or more beneath the ground, making them useful during all seasons. These water wells provide enough clean water for families, livestock and crops

Donations will be followed by a tax receipt.
