At Undisputed Collectibles we are always looking for new ways to grow not only our brand but our presence in the community. As our business approaches its 2nd year anniversary and begins its 3rd year of operation we want to continue to do what we can to grow as business owners but help make the hobby that we love more accessible to our local community.
In a twist that not many saw coming we have experienced another card boom similar to the one in 2020. Pokemon cards are impossible to find in stores and online they have been marked up to insane prices that sometimes approach double what it would cost to buy in a store. This means that a lot of the product doesn't get to fall in the hands of the people it should be: the players and the kids.
That's when we came up with the idea to look into running vending machines across the Murfreesboro and Smyrna areas that contain cards from the latest releases in Pokemon, sports, and other popular collectable games. The best part about this idea is that we want to use those classic vending machines you saw when you were a kid: you put in a couple quarters and get a cardboard protected card.
This is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than opening a store and serves both of our desires as a business: Gives us a presence in the community and grows our business.
Our starting goal of $1500 is broken down like this:
- 1 Card vending machine costs $350 to $500 depending on the slots.
- We need $500 to get our vending machine license for the State of Tennessee
- The rest of the cost goes into obtaining product for the machine itself.
If we able to raise more than $1500 we would use those funds to increase the amount of machines that we have.
We will be reaching out to other local businesses first to see if anyone wants to let us rent space for the vending machines but we would like to have them in our local shopping centers as well. If you see this and are interested in having an Undisputed Vending Machine, please email us and let us know.
Thank you for reading this and let's start giving back to our card loving community!
