Today, we are heartbroken to share that our dear friend and teammate Markee lost his beloved mother due to health complications. Markee has been an unwavering caregiver, a devoted son, and a source of strength for his family. Despite the immense challenges of providing daily care for his mother, taking care of himself, and supporting his family, Markee has always shown incredible resilience and love.

Markee has been with Logic Jiu Jitsu since our early days as Roots Jiu Jitsu. As a dedicated instructor, he’s inspired both kids and adults, shaping lives on and off the mat. A fierce competitor and a compassionate mentor, Markee is the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, asking for nothing in return. Now, it’s our turn to give back to someone who has given so much to all of us.
