Support Shaban's family Escape Gaza, From Despair to Hope:
Donation protected
In the heart of crisis-ridden Gaza, we grapple with unimaginable, unbearable hardship. Picture the scene: you’re amidst Shaban’s family. Imagine for a moment being Shaban himself. Stripped of your home, your security, your very dreams, we endure each day amidst the ruins, clinging to slivers of hope amidst unrelenting despair. You've lost everything. Your once-bustling university, a beacon of knowledge, now stands as a haunting reminder of what was lost. Every dawn brings the struggle to survive, every dusk a grim reminder of the shattered dreams that litter the landscape.
“I’m Shaban Ahmed,” a 19-year-old software engineering student. My life has been turned upside down by the unyielding bombings and shelling. Once brimming with aspirations, I now face the harsh reality of displacement and uncertainty.
In Gaza dreams go to die. Each displacement leaves behind another fragment of our shattered souls. The nights, especially, are merciless—cold, unforgiving, filled with the anguished cries of children who know only fear and uncertainty. I used to have big dreams, but the war has ruined them. It's taken a toll on me, making me physically and mentally sick. I suffer from depression and hair loss because of the constant trauma we face. Time feels like it's stopped in Gaza, and we're stuck in a never-ending nightmare.
Capturing the Harsh Realities Within the Tent:
- Finding hope: A call for support
Yet, amid this darkness, a faint glimmer of hope emerges. My friend Mohamad has a plan to help us break free from this despair. Through compassionate donors like you, there’s a chance to break free from the shackles of despair and forge a new beginning in Egypt.
Imagine the relief of a warm embrace after nights spent shivering in makeshift shelters, the comfort of a meal shared with loved ones after days of hunger, the peace of knowing that our children are safe from the horrors of war.

PS: In the photo below, taken two days before the war, I'm in front of my university. I'm proud to say I achieved a GPA of 93.18% in my first year as a software engineer, ranking among the top ten in my batch.
This is me and my father in my cousin's wedding who was martyred in this barbaric war.
