Help Wesley & Michelle rebuild after fire

We know many, many people are grieving over the loss of their beloved Pacific Palisades homes. As many of us try to convey, the Palisades is NOT an exclusively wealthy community.

I wanted you to know about a very special person who has meant a lot to my girls for several years now. Some of you have met her! A fellow native Californian, Michelle is a fellow single mom with a 5-year-old son, Wesley, who my girls consider a baby brother. In one fell swoop, she lost her home and Wesley's elementary school close to the Village. She isn't wealthy by any means, but like MANY in the Palisades, she was fortunate enough to be living in her grandmother's home. She's been taking advantage of the opportunity by going to college, working as she could, and doing everything she possibly could do to better their lives.

Now so much has been lost. They escaped with what they could carry and their two dogs. Such a HUGE setback for a person that has been so driven and faithful to push forward in life. We are all so devastated for them and wanted to set up this GoFundMe to help her with literally everything: shelter, clothes, food, the ability to stabilize what we can, especially for Wesley's sake, and keep them close to us if possible.
