Donate to Niki Cobb's Family in Crisis

My name is Denise Edmonds. I am setting up this page to help my cousin Niki Cobb. She lost her husband and the father of her children unexpectedly last week.

Jerry was a great guy. He was easy going, always had a smile and was the family's primary provider. In fact, he held the only full time job in the family. His income paid the family's mortgage, bills, insurance and expenses. Niki also works a part time job that allows her to homeschool their 12 yr. old daughter.

On October 21, 2024, Niki found Jerry unconscious in their home. He was taken to the hospital and 5 days later removed from life support... never regaining consciousness and leaving a family without support or way to maintain and keep their home.

They had just completed work on the home they bought a couple of years ago. At the time, they didn't realize it was a "fix-r-upper." And after having the plumbing redone, basement waterproofed, and most recently numerous trees cut and a new septic tank system put in, they finally rejoiced that they could take a shower and do laundry on the same day! That was just 2 weeks ago.

There was no insurance on the mortgage and with all the work, the mortgage and bills amount to over $250,000. Now, with Jerry gone, Niki is faced with raising their 12 year old daughter alone, loosing their home, and no insurance. With their savings already depleted, she sees no way to keep their home.

Niki has a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She teaches in depth Bible studies to two different groups in two locations each week and knows He will strengthen her faith through this.

I pray as you read this request for financial assistance, you will pray for peace and guidance in the days to come for this broken family as they struggle to get through each day.
