Donate to Ondrea's Mission for Hurricane Victims

My name is Ondrea Zink, I’ve currently been working boots on the ground in Western North Carolina. I am working with residents and communities face to face, after Hurricane Helene tore through North Carolina. There is no middle man, no third party. I’m assisting those in need one on one. I’ve been blessed so far and been able to either financially help those in need myself, or I’ve managed to find the resources for them. Resources are starting to slowly decrease, and there’s still so many needs, so much to be done. It is absolutely a necessity to help the people and communities affected.

About Me: I am a mother, a firefighter, and business owner. I am a Georgia resident but currently in Burnsville, NC area, and will be here as long as I’m needed. I have teamed up with a crew boss, and handle logistics for our crew and jobs. I’m also out in the field, directly at the church’s and homes of those affected helping with their needs. I’ve also teamed up with a SAR specialist from SC and searching for missing loved ones still. So I’m definitely making my time count and giving the people my all while I’m here.

Mission: Working in the remote areas that have been affected the most, working directly with residents and their needs, no matter what the need is.

Some examples:

-Our crew repaired a driveway to an elderly man’s home that washed away and he is desperately needing a load of gravel so his new driveway doesn’t erode, wash away, etc.

-There is a young married couple with a 4 month old baby that live at the very top of a remote mountain, and it’s confirmed they will not have power or clean water until spring of next year, I need help in purchasing a IBC water tote for them to have clean safe water.

-There’s another family that is in the rebuild stage, and are desperately needing insulation to finish before winter comes.

-Another couple living alone and secluded need a four wheeler to be able to come down the mountain for food and supplies. Their home is only accessible by atv.

Each family has different needs of course and our goal is to help them in anyway possible whether it is mucking/gutting out a home (which requires protective protective equipment, buckets, shovels, etc), or helping them rebuild their homes (which will require lumbar and other building materials), or repairing roads and driveways with our equipment (that requires fuel to operate), etc.

*All funds will go directly to the needs or materials for residents, and with complete transparency show donors what exactly and where their money went via monthly bank statements.

*Any donor is also welcome to come to NC, we’re happy to house you with us for a few days so you can see for yourself the people and communities being helped.
