Hello! My name is Andres Jara and I am fundraising for a donation towards Pathways to Housing DC.

Pathways to Housing DC is an organization aimed at ending homelessness and supporting the recovery of people with complex health problems.

I am choosing to fundraise for a donation because I am a firm believer in ending homelessness in a ethical and humane way.

Growing up in the D.C. metro area I have been witness the crisis surrounding housing in this area and its unaffordability. I have also seen how government officials have disregarded this problem, choosing to instead ignore the encampments under bridges, the tents in the parks, and the people sleeping in the street.
