Patricia Schroeder’s Cancer Treatment Journey

In May of this year, our mother, Patricia was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She has started treatment to give us more time with her, but it is not curative. Navigating the healthcare and insurance system has been overwhelming and mostly disappointing. While we continue to strive for as much care as possible, the medical bills are mounting and her increased need for a higher level of care continues. Many of her friends have donated their time to assist mom at home, and we are truly grateful for that. With that said, we have limited resources available to ensure optimal care and assistance as she goes through treatment.
