Donate to Pullo's Amputation Fund!

Update: Thanks to the generosity of so many, we were able to schedule Pullo's amputation for Monday, November 6. We are so relieved that he will be feeling better soon. Over the last few days it has seemed like he is in a bit of pain, so being able to schedule this sooner than we thought we'd be able to is just incredible. I'm blown away by how quickly we were able to raise this money and am eternally grateful to all of you.

My sweet angel baby man Pullo has recently developed several cancerous tumors on his front leg and paw. In July we had them removed, but they grew back with a vengeance. As far as we can tell he's not in pain, but the large size of the tumors make it difficult for him to walk and they are often open and bleeding, which is very difficult to manage on a daily basis. His vet said our best route is to amputate the leg so that we can be done with this entirely.

As many of you know, he's 15, which sounds risky for a surgery like this, but I've talked at length with his vet and he is an otherwise happy and healthy cat. This would extend his quality of life for hopefully years to come.

Pullo means the absolute world to me. The thought of losing him is a place I cannot even allow my mind to go. We've been through so much together and I know with certainty that his time is nowhere near up. If you're at all able to help us with this life changing surgery, Pullo, his sister Bertille, Nikko, and I would be forever grateful!

Funds will be used to cover the cost of surgery as estimated by his vet ($2,200). Any additional funds will be used to cover follow-up appointments, medication, and anything Pullo might need to make him as comfy as possible.
