As some of you know, my sister Chelsea has a severe neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome. Among many other symptoms, she cannot speak or walk, eats through a feeding tube, and has seizures regularly.

My mom, Monica, started a nonprofit organization shortly after receiving my sister's diagnosis over 20 years ago. Since then, she has raised more than $100 million! There is currently a lot of exciting research in progress that could lead to a cure. You can read all about it here:

The Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) is hosting "Reverse Rett NYC 2024" at Chelsea Piers in NYC on 11/12/2024 to raise money. At this event, I will be speaking about growing up in a Rett family and my relationship with my sister. In addition, I am fundraising. I will match the first $500 donated and my employer, Aon, will match up to $1,000. So, the first $500 donated will result in $2,000 to RSRT. If you’d like to donate directly to RSRT to receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes and/or request a match donation from your employer, here is the link.

Thanks in advance to anyone who considers donating. If anyone wants to purchase tickets to the event, I look forward to seeing you there!
