Donate to the Miyake-Trapp Family Affected by the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
The Eaton Fire in Altadena, California, has claimed many homes in the area, including the home of an amazing family, the Miyake-Trapps. Jason and Jennifer and their two daughters were forced to quickly evacuate their home and left everything behind.
Jason is an instructional coach at Octavia E. Butler Magnet in the Pasadena Unified School District. He also served as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant in the US Army and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. Jennifer is an Associate Professor of Education at Pepperdine University. Needless to say, they have both made a positive impact in the lives of many, many fellow educators, students, and families in our community. Jason and Jenny have two beautiful daughters, a 14 year old high schooler and an 11 year old fifth grader in PUSD. Their dedication to their daughters is evident as the girls are incredibly sweet, kind, and are just great humans. The girls (and their parents) are actively involved in local youth basketball organizations: Run Jump N Hoop, Wanjettes, Pasadena Bruins, and Yonsei. They also love music, animals, reading, and being outdoors.
The Miyake-Trapp family lost everything in the Eaton Fire. We are asking for your support as they figure out their next steps. The funds raised will go directly toward their temporary housing, clothing, and other essentials. Any size donation, whether large or small, will make a significant difference and is deeply appreciated.
