Hello, my name is Russ King. I am a soon-to-retire mechanical engineer who has spent his 35+ year career making people more comfortable while saving them money (by designing energy efficient HVAC systems).

I invented the 1anda2 DIY composting toilet separator as a way to make super cheap and super sanitary toilets for unhoused folks and for disaster relief. It is so simple and cheap to make that I imagine tons of people will make one for their own use, but that's OK! I hope it helps them.
