Ryan's Biblical Mountain hike with Church Group
Donation protected
Hey friends and family!
I am so honored to share this amazing news on behalf of my amazing husband.
Ryan has been given a great opportunity through our church to embark on a 5 day biblical hike through the mountains of Colorado. It will be testing, physically and spiritually but such a blessing and an honor.
This decision was by nomination of the church leaders to select only a few who have shown Leadership throughout the Church and Ryan has officially been one of the individuals selected.
This has been such an honor and truly a shock to him but a testament to God’s work through this Church and Ministry.
Ryan and I would greatly appreciate any financial donation you are able and willing to give to help us get him there- and PLEASE, more importantly, prayer for this upcoming journey and for continued growth in his faith that can come from this trip.
The funds raised will greatly help us purchase him the supplies needed for this hiking trip along with the fee required to go.
Ryan has been such an inspiration to me and the pride that overwhelms my heart is so unexplainable.
Over the past 12 years, I have gotten to witness him grow into a man, a husband, a Chiropractor, a father and my favorite…. I got to watch him grow into a man of God.
See, I truly believe that having faith in God isn’t the only thing we are called to do.
1 Peter 4:10-11: God calls people to use their gifts to serve others, and to do so with the strength God provides.
Before we joined this church, I already looked to Ryan as if he hung the moon.
He was already such an inspiration to me because his heart made me want to be a better person.
Getting to witness him change people’s lives every day and come home and be so happy that he helped someone, just proves what kind of man he is.
When we visited this church, we fully relied on God to make it known to us, that if this is the church we belong in, we would recognize that truth.
And it honestly didn’t take long for us to see such potential here for our family.
Little did we know, the potential God had in store for the leader of my family!
Ryan felt called by God to get involved and started helping out with parking duties and I saw very quickly that serving the Lord in such a way can fill you with such humble kindness. He never boasted about it, never saw it as a thing that got him a spot in heaven or solidified pride in God’s eyes or people’s eyes.
He was just happy to do it.
For God.
I am inspired by that.
But, along with doing parking duty, he still felt called to do more.
So he applied and interviewed to be one of the youth leaders, and to no surprise, he became one.
His relationships and mutual friends in the church grew, and I get to witness something I’ve never witnessed before.
I knew he was a man who had faith in God before, but now he is truly a MAN of God, in the same way that God took fisherman, who believed in God and turned them into fishers OF men.
Philippians 1:6 says: God will carry on a good work that has been started in someone, until the day of Christ Jesus.
Ryan makes such a difference in this world every day. I can’t say that he would agree with me on that but I have believed that from the moment we met.
I know this trip is going to be life changing for him and I want to thank anyone who has read this far and feels called to donate or pray.
