Please Help Support our dad Samu Anoa'i's Medical Journey: An Appeal for Your Kindness and Generosity

My name is Leila Anoa'i, on behalf of my siblings and I, I'm reaching out in regards to our father, the legendary Samu Anoa'i. For decades, our dad has inspired countless fans around the world with his remarkable career in professional wrestling, spanning from WWF to WWE, NJPW Japan and numerous other esteemed organizations. His unwavering passion and dedication have left an indelible mark on the world of sports entertainment.

However, in recent years, our dad's health has faced significant challenges. In 2017, he was diagnosed with liver cancer, and thanks to the power of prayer, support from WWE and talent , and our incredible wrestling community, he underwent a successful liver transplant in 2019.

Unfortunately, his health struggles persist. Our dad has bravely battled kidney problems since his teenage years, and in January 2025, he faced a severe kidney stone attack, which led to a heart attack and with a sepsis infection. We almost lost him this time. He spent a week in the hospital, accumulating over six figures in medical bills, a rude realization to the ever-mounting costs of healthcare.

The doctors have now informed us that he requires open-heart surgery, including a double bypass, as soon as possible. With the closure of his Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Training Center due to COVID-19, my mom has been the primary breadwinner, but her insurance coverage is now very limited in Florida, and the medical bills are beginning to pile up.

This is where we humbly ask for your help. We're turning to our community for support to help my mom cover the mounting medical expenses, including prescriptions, transportation, share costs and copays. Any contribution, big or small, will make a profound difference in my dad's recovery journey. We've set a donation goal of $60,000, a testament to the power of collective kindness.
