Hi, my name is Lindsay, and I’m reaching out to you for help with something incredibly important — saving my dog, Archer. Archer isn’t just a dog; he’s family. I adopted him from the SPCA, and I promised to do everything in my power to take care of him. He has been my best friend, always by my side, sharing long walks, playing ball, and making every day brighter with his adorable quirks.

But now Archer needs urgent heart surgery. He’s been diagnosed with a severe heart condition that is shortening his life. Last October, he started having trouble breathing, and since then, we’ve visited multiple specialists, including cardiologists and emergency vets, and spent thousands of dollars on treatments. Unfortunately, his condition requires mitral valve surgery, with costs all-in around $50,000.

Archer has so many years left to live, but without this surgery, his time with us is limited. He used to love long walks around the neighborhood, but now he can barely make it down the street without a stroller. Despite this, he still brings joy to our lives — he sits like a person when he wants to play ball, he howls when we come home because he’s just so excited to see us, and he knows when his Christmas stocking is full!
