Donate to save Betty from a horrible tick

My 6 month old daschund x poodle (Betty) woke me on Friday morning at 5.30 vomiting. Got up and saw her back legs wobbly. She could walk 2 steps then not.

Raced up to Terrey Hills vet (NEVs). Tick. Big, on her head and after shave, they found one on her ear too.

Antiserum administered (about 7am Friday), antibiotics too I think. She is still there but needs ongoing treatment. They say she is critical and stay will be 3 to 5 days.

They classify her as 3C.

Cost is a factor of course. Care is about $1500 to $2000 per day (if not more, depending on her needs). As a single mum of a young daughter (9) and no substantial savings, I have put what I can on my credit card but am desperate to ensure the vet has the funds they need to get Betty home to us.

Vet is evasive but I just want to do all I can to get her home to me and my daughter.
