Meet Hugo, a little puppy who has endured unimaginable hardships. He was found abandoned on the street with three other puppies, all in dire condition. While they sat helplessly outside homes where other dogs were loved and cared for, no one opened the gate for them. Instead, Hugo sat in the scorching sun, his skin covered in painful wounds, hoping for a kindness that never came. This street has been his only “home.”

Now safe at the vet, Hugo’s journey to healing has just begun. He’s been diagnosed with severe skin conditions, including Demodex, fungal, and bacterial infections, and he’s battling extreme malnutrition, dehydration, and anemia. The vet has started him on an IV drip, antibiotics, and multivitamins to help him fight for his life.
