Donate to Save Mehedi's Life
Donation protected
We are reaching out to seek your support for Md. Mehedi Hasan, a 26-year-old from Dhaka, Bangladesh, who is in critical need of a kidney transplant. After suffering from double kidney failure, the only hope for Mehedi's survival is a transplant.
His mother has courageously agreed to donate one of her kidneys.
Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and necessary medical care until then is beyond their financial capability.
Mehedi is the eldest son in his family and has been the only breadwinner since the loss of his father 2 years ago. He has since worked diligently, aiming to lift his family out of poverty and secure a better future for them. His sudden illness has not only put his life at risk but has also left his family in a vulnerable state.
We urgently need 8 Lakh BDT (= 800k BDT, approx. 8,000 USD or 12,000 AUD) to cover the medical expenses for Mehedi's kidney transplant and subsequent treatment.
His family’s income of only 20k BDT/month (approx. 182 USD/month, or 279 AUD/month) means that Mehedi’s life is now at the mercy of those who read this post.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
Appeal for Zakat Donation:
"And whoever saves a life it is as though he had saved the lives of all mankind"
- Quran (5:32)
With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, we kindly ask those who are observing Ramadan and planning to donate their Zakat Fitrah to consider supporting Mehedi's cause. Your Zakat and donations can provide not only financial relief but also hope and a chance at life for Mehedi and his family. We can confirm that the family will accept Zakat payments.
Mehedi is currently under treatment at CKD & Urology Hospital in Shamoli, Dhaka (Bed 315, Patient ID 24020985).
We have all necessary medical documentation to support our appeal and are committed to transparency and updates to all our donors.
Thank you for your time, kindness and generosity.
