Donate to Save Online Art Classes

2020 has been a year of extraordinary change, a year that has called for adapting, restructuring, reimagining and taking chances. My name is Eva Van and I am an art educator who was personally taught The Marvegos way of teaching art to children by the founder, Rita Young. A decade with The Marvegos has ingrained in me the philosophy and method that enables children to find their own voice through art-making while building confidence in their own creativity. I have seen firsthand the difference this approach has made in students and I am not ready to let go of seeing students joyfully engaged in creating, so I’m taking a chance.
I want to continue offering Marvegos inspired programs online through a new venture. Those of you who have enjoyed The Marvegos online classes may see your favorite online teachers again as we hope to employ as many staff left by the closing of The Marvegos as possible. You can help by donating to this campaign. All proceeds will go directly to developing content for online classes, marketing and, most importantly, the funds will help us artists survive this crisis. I recognize these are tough times for everyone, but no donation is too small.
As Rita used to say, “It takes a community to create something memorable and great.” Please be a part of my community and dream to keep art alive through this pandemic.
Below are examples of what we're trying to keep alive.
