Support Sally’s Medical Care

I would like to introduce you to Sally, my best non-human friend. She has always been a great companion to me, and I don't know how my life would be without her. She's always been there for me, and right now I really need to be there for her more than ever.

Here's what's going on. A couple of weeks back, I noticed blood in her urine, so I immediately rushed her in for an emergency visit with the vet for what I thought was only a UTI. She was put on antibiotics after having all the usual tests done, including blood, urine, and an ultrasound where they found a clump, and none of the tests came back looking good.

Fast forward two weeks, she had finished her meds, she was looking and acting like her usual perky self, so I was hopeful. I did what they instructed as far as taking another urine sample in for testing. No results changed. They are now suspecting that the clump is most likely a malignant tumor, but to be sure, she has to see a specialist, which is not cheap and can cost upwards of $1000. The unfortunate thing is pet insurance will not cover pre-existing conditions, so even if I were to take out a policy, testing and treatment would still not be covered.

So I'm reaching out to the community for help to raise the funds needed for the needed testing as well as potential treatment to make my girl healthy and happy again, which most likely will include rounds of chemotherapy at $800-1000 each.
