Donate to save Simba: A Brave Cat's Battle with FIP
Donation protected
Dear friends,
My wife and I are raising funds for this lovely cat, Simba. Simba, a 2.5-year-old cat rescued in Karachi, belongs to our friend in Pakistan.
In 2022, Simba survived FPV (feline panleukopenia virus) and is a strong fighter. However, this year, he has been diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).
Simba is fighting bravely, but we're facing a heartbreaking challenge. To treat this deadly disease, Simba needs to be prescribed GS-441524, which is known to have a high success rate in treating FIP. A vial of GS 441524 is quite expensive, but with the help of volunteers, our friend has been able to procure this medicine at a cost of about $54 per vial. With the increase in his dose, a 6 ml vial of GS-441524 available barely lasts two days. He is on a 2.6 ml/day dose of 20mg GS-441524, which will keep increasing as Simba gains weight.
With the deprecation of the Pakistani rupee, Pakistan's financial situation is in dire straits. The FIP treatment is quite long and our friend is unable to afford this treatment for Simba. Even though our friend is managing the vet visits somehow, any further lab investigations and any parasite treatment comes out of her own pocket, which has placed a severe burden on our friend.
Here are some of Simba's receipts and health reports.
With the initial prescription of the medicine, Simba is showing good improvement; hence, we don't want to give up on that lovely fighter. Below is an updated ultrasound report for Simba.
The debt is piling up fast. Our friend must now pay the debt before getting more vials for him. Watching Simba fight so hard while struggling to meet his needs is tearing us apart. We don't want to lose Simba. He has come so far after being misdiagnosed for months and suffering.

No matter how small, every donation gives Simba a real chance at life and keeps hope alive for our friend's four other rescues and 15+ street cats who depend on her. Please help Simba continue this fight so that he can see a beautiful life ahead.
We would appreciate any donations you could give for Simba's treatment, and we would personally transfer the money to our friend in Pakistan so we can continue his treatment ASAP.
