Help get Tim a Kidney Transplant

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Julianne, and I’m writing this on behalf of my dad, Timothy George. He’s the most amazing man, and he’s always worked so hard to take care of our family. Now, he needs help to save his life.

Growing up, we always felt secure because my dad taught us how to budget. I’ll be honest, sometimes it drove me crazy, but I know he did it because he wanted to make sure our family was taken care of, as well as the charities he cares about. He’s always saying, "There’s no point in making lots of money unless you plan to do something good with it." That’s just who he is.

Everything was going great until 2020, when COVID-19 changed everything. My dad got really sick early on, and at the time, there wasn’t even a test for it. After months of being sick, doctors found out that he had acute kidney failure. They told him to follow a strict diet, and we all thought he was getting better.

But in 2021, things took a turn for the worse. After receiving the COVID vaccine, his condition got worse, and the doctors changed his diagnosis to chronic kidney failure. They said he needs a kidney transplant to survive. Even though my dad does everything he can to stay healthy, he’s not eligible for a transplant here in the U.S. because of his high blood pressure. He can appeal, but the chances are really low that he’ll get approved.

That’s why we’re looking into treatments overseas, where he might be able to get an artificial or bionic kidney. The treatment is super expensive, and it’s something we can’t afford on our own. So I’m running this GoFundMe to try to raise the money we need to save my dad’s life.

My dad has always been so giving. He donates 10% of his company’s income to charity every year. He’s helped with hurricane relief in Texas and supported humanitarian efforts in Haiti. He’s always been there for others, and now I’m hoping that people can come together to help him.

My biggest dream is to have my dad walk me down the aisle at my wedding someday. He’s the strongest, hardest-working person I know, and he deserves a chance to keep living and being with us.

Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. If you can’t donate, even just sharing this page or keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers would make a huge difference. As a bonus, I found a high school picture of dad when he was cool. lol

Thank you so much for reading my dad’s story and helping us in this fight to save his life.

With love,
Julianne
