Donate to Secure Housing for the Milligan Family

On September 27th, Hurricane Helene brought an unprecedented storm surge to Sarasota, FL. Many people have been displaced along the west coast of FL and into NC and TN. Unfortunately, the Milligan family was one family that was hit hard. They lost their home in this tragic event, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Their hurricane insurance does not cover storm surge!

They are our closest friends since we moved to Sarasota; we have spent holidays and special occasions with them and consider them family.

In the coming months, as they navigate the insurance company technicalities, they will decide if it makes sense to rebuild or push the whole house over. They have an immediate need financially to pay for rent on top of their mortgage. Future needs will be to replace the contents of their home as they are not covered under insurance.
