Donate to Secure Jason and Katrin's Future

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Brinegar on September 21st, 2024. She was an avid gardener, arts and crafts enthusiast, and watercolor artist. She leaves behind a son, Jason, 21, and daughter, Katrin, 18. She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved life, but her 18-year battle with breast cancer unfortunately took her life too soon.

What Jean wanted most in her life was for her children to be well-educated and successful. Her son, Jason, is one semester from graduating with a degree in veterinary medicine, and her daughter, Katrin, will begin college this spring studying psychology. Although she did leave a college account for both of her children, there is not going to be enough for them to complete their degrees.

Her children don't want me to even put this up to ask for help, but as her sister, I feel that their mother would not want them to struggle as hard as they have been since her passing. If you find it in your heart to donate any amount of money to go towards the education of Jason and Katrin, it would be greatly appreciated. Any and all funds will be split up evenly between both siblings until Jason's education is complete; then the rest of the funds will go towards Katrin's education.
