URGENT: Help Us Stop the Battery Plant and Protect Our Community!

We need your immediate help to stand against an underhanded attack on our community by the City of College Park government. They have pushed through plans for a dangerous battery storage facility by NextERA right in our neighborhood, cheating us of our voice and putting our health and safety at risk.

We have identified a dedicated lawyer ready to fight for us, but we need to raise money for her retainer. This will enable her to conduct essential discovery and fine-tune our legal strategy. We are seeking to raise $10,000 to cover the retainer and additional legal expenses.

Paul Loveless of the Sunrise Trail Community, Tiffany Patterson of the Delano Road Community and Mose James IV who grew up in the Sunrise Trail Community are working to stop NextEra from moving forward with their planned development. Together, along with many others, we are leading this battle, but we cannot do it alone. We need the support of every community member.
