AN IMPORTANT MEMOIR: "LESSONS FROM THE LAST REVOLUTION"
After 50 years of anti-war and civil rights work, I've written a memoir, Standin' in a Hard Rain, the Making of a Revolutionary Life. It answers the question on many minds today, “How does political activism change your life?
Standin in a Hard Rain, is the story of someone who stepped off the sidelines and into the street to change the course of history.
It’s already garnered enthusiastic support from major “movers and shakers” such as:
• David Harris, Organizer of the National Draft Resistance during the Vietnam War, Author/Correspondent, NY Times, Rolling Stone Magazine
• Peter Coyote, activist, narrator of the Ken Burns film on the Vietnam War
• Norman Solomon, author: War Made Easy: Made Love, Got War, and Founder, Institute for Public Accuracy
This fund will pay for the rights to dozens of rare photos and documents as well as the cost of editing and publication. The book itself will be used as an organizing tool. Every launch event can include a local organizer to share the mic and raise support for grass roots activities.
If you choose to support the project, we have some "thank you" gifts for you:
