Donate to support Austin Dale’s recovery

Hi my name is Melanie Furness, I am a nurse and huge sports can and also have lived with someone who has had a stroke so I know how challenging recovery can be. I have known Austin since he was three when him and his family came to Thetford parkrun. Sadly during a football game Austin was unable to play in the 2nd half of the game and at home collapsed. At the age of 13 he suffered a stroke and has slurred speech with a right sided weakness. Austin once a lively energetic young man is suffering both physically and mentally. At the moment he is struggling with mental health. Professionally I know stroke recovery is long and challenging for anyone but for someone so young the impact is huge. With the parents consent we are raising money to support recovery and activities for physical and mental health.
