Donate to Support Sergeant James Dodson Jr.'s Loved Ones

My name is Bo Conger. I have created this for my brother’s family. James D. Dodson, Jr., 40, of Calhoun, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at his home. Sergeant Dodson, a Marine who survived explosions, severe gunshot wounds, and many combat deployments, fought his last battle yesterday. He is survived by his wife Kate Dodson, son JJ, daughter Kalena, father James Dodson, and sister Katie.
As I look at our nation, I see a lot of warriors who have served and sacrificed so much. I see some of our nation's greatest warriors and patriots, and many of you have gotten to meet my brother. My brother addressed many of you as his friend, family, or fellow brother in arms. All equal terms in his book. I want to thank all of you for taking the time to read this and for those of you who will honor him by supporting his family. Our family is deeply humbled by the outpouring of support and your condolences. James taught many of us that leadership is "a contact sport"; you have to personally engage the ones you care for. The stories told and memories of James are a testament to his style of leadership and the way he lived his life, for that matter, his style of friendship.
I ask that you donate anything at all to help support his family in this tough time. We wouldn’t ask if the circumstances didn’t call for it. Thank you all, and God bless!
