Donate to support Reggie’s knee surgery

Update: Thank you all so much for your generosity. We have been absolutely blown away to see how a community of friends and strangers alike are reaching out and supporting.

We met with the surgeon today and were able to schedule Reggie for surgery for January 3rd once our pet insurance resets. We also had the chance to get an itemized estimate and with our insurance we’re looking at about $3,000-$4,000 out of pocket. I have adjusted the goal accordingly. Most importantly, thank you all for your love. We will keep you posted along the way with this journey to recovery. Community is everything and we wouldn’t be able to give our pup the care he needs in this moment without all of you incredibly wonderful people.

Hi all! My name is Stephanie & this is our pup Reggie. Recently our beloved rescue pup injured his knee and tore both back ACLs. Reggie is a playful, energetic, smart and loving 2 year old pup.

He was a rescue who joined our family a year and a half ago and is the most joyful ray of sunshine. He’s so happy to run around and have a cozy place to rest.

Unfortunately, this past week Reggie was visiting family and got so excited to run down and say hi to my dad that he slipped and fell down a hill in their backyard.

During this he partially tore both back ACLs requiring surgery. I’m a first grade teacher and unfortunately the surgery he needs is very expensive and out of our price range. My partner and I want to do everything we can to help our sweet puppy heal and be pain-free so he can be the playful, joyful guy he is once again.

If you have any extra to give at this moment, anything helps. I hate to ask anyone for money when I know things are tight for most of us. I just must do everything in my power to help my beloved pup. Thank you so much for time.
