Sustain Asylum Humanitarian Efforts in San Diego County

Donation protected
We are individuals who have been providing humanitarian aid for nearly a year along the California portion of the US/MX border, Jacumba, CA in the east, to Otay, CA in the west. Our purpose is to prevent migrant suffering and the loss of life.

For the past year since Title 42 expired, people have been forced to travel through dangerous environments and conditions throughout the mountains and deserts of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

The official US policy of deterrence and the complicated immigration policies force asylum seekers to use these dangerous routes to seek a better life. It doesn't have to be this way. But it's reality.

Because of political unrest, climate change, cartel violence, gang threats upon families, US Policies towards other nations, conditions have become perilous in their home countries and force these people to seek asylum in the U.S.

In the past year, many of the people we’ve encountered have fled from Uzbekistan, Kurdistan, Turkey, Vietnam, Columbia, Jordan, Egypt, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Cuba, Cameroon, Ghana, Mauritania, India, Mexico… Sadly, the list of countries could go on.

As people, we all have one objective in common. We all wish for security for our families and future.

During the last year we were entrusted by a non-profit as paid contractors to continue the same work that we provided as volunteers. This contract work has since been paused.

But the work never stopped.

We've continued providing aid as volunteer aid workers independent of any non-governmental organization. As we do so, our funding now comes from out of pocket, while we provide the same support for migrants, such as water, food, first aid, and shelter from the unforgiving desert environment.

We are seeking your help to raise $10,000.00 to make this humanitarian aid effort sustainable through the end of 2024. These funds will allow us to purchase basic human necessities such as water, food (fresh fruit, non-perishable food, nutrition shakes for young kids), first aid supplies, shelter materials, and winter clothing such as ponchos, jackets, socks, long sleeve shirts, shoes, beanies, and gloves.
