Donate To Sustain Mountain Glass Arts Employees In Need

Hello I am Chris, the founder of Mountain Glass Arts Inc., and we have been a local Asheville art supply business since 2004. We have been located in the RAD since 2012. After living in Asheville for almost 20 years, I am just at a loss for words. We are all in shock. The damage to our town is unimaginable and I can't really comprehend it.

I waited to put this up until all our employees checked in safe, that was my first concern. The main photo is of our building, it has collapsed and is expected to be condemed. We had about 16 feet of water in our building and 24 hours to prepare, and we lost everything there. We currently have 8 employees in Asheville, and 4 employees trying to keep the dream alive in Eugene, our smaller store. We are all exhausted and are trying our best to keep MGA going. This fundraiser is for EMPLOYEES ONLY and money will be distributed equally among every employee. If the Eugene store can keep the dream alive, then we may have a chance to rebuild in Asheville. We will make that decision down the road after cleanup.

MGA has always shared profits with employees, and given out generous bonuses for over a decade, however the last 2 years have not delivered a bonus. Any donation is appreciated and will be much appreciated by the hardworking employees who have always gone out of their way to make sure every order is handled like it was their own. Glass blowing supplies are raw materials for our customers profession, their way of life. Supporting us helps support many, many artists who rely on MGA for fast, cheap supplies and high quality caring customer service.
