Donate to Sustain Our Dedicated Baristas

I am raising money specifically to replace the income my employees would typically receive as tips for their extraordinary work as baristas at Daymoon Coffee & Books and BattleCat Beverly Hills.

While unemployment benefits will defray a percentage of their income, they will not come close to meeting my staffs’ real life needs.

We will be unable to renew our regular operations prior to the lifting of a boil water advisory that at this point (10/4/24) could be two months off.

It was hard enough to make ends meet—let alone plan for the future—as a service worker in WNC last week. It is one historic weather crisis harder today.

Every cent of the proceeds of this drive will be conveyed to my employees.
