Donate to the Chuck Pettit Memorial Scholarship

Our brother/son/friend, Chuck Pettit, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2024. To honor Chuck's memory, his family and friends have established the Chuck Pettit Memorial Scholarship.

Chuck was a 1988 graduate of Olean High School, located in Olean, NY. He spent all his career in the human services field where he held various positions from front-line staff to executive director. His passion was helping others. Chuck felt strongly about continuing education, as is evidenced by him obtaining a Master of Arts in Psychology when he was 45 years old.

Annually, one student will be awarded a one-time scholarship of $1,000 in his honor who is pursuing education in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or sociology. 100% of donations will support the annual scholarship award. No donations will be used for administrative costs.
