Donate to The Jane Flynn Foundation for Women’s Education

My name is Patrick Flynn, and I am the son of the great social worker, Jane Flynn.

I am starting a charitable organization in her memory and mission in life: to serve those in need through educational opportunities.

For the last fifteen years of Jane’s half century-long career as a social worker, Jane Flynn served the women of New Bedford through the great institution of The Women’s Center.

The current name of the charitable organization will be “The Jane Flynn Foundation for Women’s Education” and will function as an educational scholarship awards committee for women seeking to empower and improve their lives through the vehicle of higher education.

The organization will aim to annually award the funds raised throughout the year to a particular candidate who has demonstrated their commitment and intention to use higher education as an opportunity to improve their own lives and the world around them.
