Long Family Donation

Jim and Yvonne Long are well-known members of the community of Lunenburg, MA. They are active in their church and participate in many fundraisers. Yvonne regularly gives blood through the Red Cross, and Jim participates in the Miles for Myles fundraiser annually with both of his daughters—Lauren, who is currently in college at UMass Lowell, and Karynna, who is a student at Lunenburg High School. Both Lauren and Karynna are avid runners and are on the track teams at their respective schools.

Unfortunately, on April 5, 2025, a house fire broke out on the first floor of their home. Although Jim, Yvonne, Lauren, Karynna, and their dog Adori made it out safely, their family cat perished due to the massive amounts of smoke and water used to put out the fire. The home itself is a total loss, and although Jim and Yvonne have remained incredibly strong in the face of this loss, they deserve the community's help and support during this time.

The Longs have been incredible friends to my partner and me during an extremely difficult time for our family, and I feel the need to pay it forward.
