Donate to the Slusher Family to aid in their fight

My name is Megan and I am starting this fundraiser for my parents. My father, Randy Slusher, was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2023. Since then he has been off work in order to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to fight this disease. He has not received a paycheck or financial assistance since October 2023.

On February 25th Randy was admitted to the hospital, where he is currently continuing his fight. My mother, Karla Slusher, has been at his side every step of the way. She has done absolutely everything in her power to help keep my dad’s physical, mental, and spiritual strength up.

As of March 7th, he was put on life support. Although his doctors are discussing weening him off of the life support to see how well he pulls through on his own, nothing is certain.

My dad has always been the epitome of a providing family man. Selflessly doing whatever it took to keep me and my mother happy. I had his first and only grandchild in 2018. So not only has he been the most hardworking caring husband, the most supportive protective father, he filled the shoes of the best “Pa” ever as if it was the entire purpose of his existence.

No amount of donations will magically cure my father, but I am asking that those who are able, help give a sense of peace to a man who has always been my safe place. I want him to know that people love him and our family, and that we see everything he has worked so hard for.
