Donate to Thunderbird House Warming Tents

Anishiative is a non-profit organization based in Winnipeg, MB by youth looking to empower and connect with the community. 

We are trying to raise funds for the warming tents what will be set up at Thunderbird House on Higgins and Main for the unsheltered folks in the area. We understand the severity of the cold this time of year, and want to extend care to those who have little to no resources during this time. 

The money will go directly to maintaining the tents — things like fire wood, hot beverages, warm food and snacks, traditional medicines, Volunteer PPE, fire extinguishers, warm clothing, and any other expenses that may arise. 

Please feel free to reach out if you would like to volunteer for fire keeping, would like to donate any warm clothes or food, or have any questions regarding the cause. We also appreciate spreading the word in any way you can, so that more people can be reached.
