Christina Eloiza Castillo was born on May 3, 1988, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota, to Cesar Flores and Rachel Castillo. She grew up in the Willmar community and attended the Willmar Public School District.

Tina was a great mother to her 3 kids, Isaac Casillas, Amiya Castillo, and Andrew Castillo. She explored many careers and worked countless hours to provide for her family. She was a hardworking single mother who did a phenomenal job loving and supporting her children. Tina's children were her most prized possession, whom she loved endlessly and was so proud to be called their mother.

Christina was a person who embraced the love that she had for herself daily, always smiling, dressing to impress, and keeping her makeup done to show off the strong confidence that she had for herself, letting the world know that nothing could break that beautiful smile. Tina was very loving and caring. She would give anything to make sure that everyone around her was okay, which is why her laughter and jokes couldn't be overlooked. There are so many things to describe her bubbly, loving soul, but when you think of strength, always remember her because we are talking about a woman who never gave up. No matter how many obstacles she faced, she fought through every one and always came out on top with that pretty smile of hers. Tina loved to spend time with family and friends, play board games, enjoy Bridget's pumpkin bars, collect shoes, and keep up with fashion. She loved having family cookouts and cooking at home. She expressed her love for art and creativity through her tattoos. Tina had a super energetic and positive personality. Her personality was contagious, and she always knew how to make everyone around her smile and laugh. Tina was the light in a lot of people's lives; some may even say she was an unpaid therapist :) She grew very strong bonds with those around her and always found a way to comfort those by her side.

Tina passed away at the age of 36 on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital.

She is survived by her 3 children, Isaac Casillas (19), Amiya Castillo (15), and Andrew Castillo (14); her parents, Rachel Castillo (Mother) and Cesar Flores (Father); her 8 siblings; and many more loved family and friends. The money we raise will cover the cost of the funeral and also help with her kids as her two sons are now without parents, and it will help them get through this difficult time.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers: Ana Flores and Eloisa O. Castillo; grandpa: Guadalupe Castillo; uncles: Francisco Lugardo, Luis Flores, Jesus, and Johnny Rodriguez; cousins: Jason Rodriguez and Ayla Bautista.
