Donate to Tom Johnson's Cremation & Burial

Hi friends! Many of you have asked if you can still donate. I had stopped accepting donations after reaching our goal of 4K for cremation and burial. However, so many incredible people still want to give in his honor! Therefore, YES, the GoFundMe page is back on! Going forward, any funds raised will go towards ideas such as a Westlake HS Memorial fund (like a bench plaque or a scholarship), Meals on Wheels in Mt. Pleasant, his church, or anywhere else we can contribute in Tom's name. From this point forward, your donations will go towards spreading Tommy's kindness in his hometown, which he loved so much. Thank you all so much! PS: Yesterday, 9/9, would have been Tom's mother's birthday. I believe she is watching all of this and smiling!

Dear friends,

As many of you know, our dear friend from Mount Pleasant, Tom Johnson, whom many of us went to school with at Westlake High School (Class of 1988), passed away last week. Unfortunately, Tommy didn't have any remaining family, which makes things a little more challenging. So, that's where we, his friends, come in. His local funeral home requires $4,000 for Tommy to be cremated and buried alongside his parents, ensuring a dignified final resting place. I know this would be Tommy's greatest wish.

I'm kindly asking if you can donate whatever amount you feel comfortable with to help with Tommy's cremation and burial expenses. Many of us have supported Tommy when he needed it most, and now we can provide our final support. Your help will make a difference as we come together to honor Tommy.

Please note that I do not have any additional information on a memorial service yet, but I will let you know once I do.
